Volunteers are the main body of YouthLA. Volunteers can upgrade themselves through Service Learning. That is to say, through writing and translating articles, participating in and organizing academic activities and volunteering services, they can improve their skills, levels and knowledge.
No matter you are a young designer, a landscape architecture-related student, or a specialist in other scopes, you can join us as long as you love nature and care about our living environment! What we do
Volunteers are the main body of YouthLA. Our original intention to set up volunteer service is: volunteers can upgrade themselves through Service Learning. Through writing and translating articles, participating and organizing academic activities and volunteering, they provide YouthLA-related groups with assistance and service; on the other hand, while making contribution, volunteers have the opportunity to improve their abilities, strengthen social contact and make progress in team work and group learning.
The volunteers of YouthLA are open to the public. No matter you are a young designer, a landscape architecture-related student, or a specialist in other scopes, you can join us as long as you love nature and care about our living environment! Here we search for role models, do editing and translations, volunteer activities together. We welcome everyone who is willing to contribute the specialty and enthusiasm. YouthLA volunteer team is a strong reserve of the present working team. With the development of our website, the stronger and stronger volunteer team will become the main body of YouthLA. 1. Writing articles. Write the articles with unique insight according to the requirements of all blocks and classification of our website, such as seeking for young role models, interviewing masters, reviewing landscape works and so on. The author is required to contribute their articles to writing@youthla.org, which will be published upon review and approval of the editor. Meanwhile, the profile of the author will be published as well, but YouthLA reserves the copyright of the said articles.
2. Translating articles. That is to participate in the translation of articles in foreign languages, translate valuable foreign industry trends and academic results for YouthLA. Applicants are requested to send email to translation@youthla.org for application. Articles translated by volunteers will be published after being reviewed and proofed by editors. Meanwhile, the profile of the author will be published as well, but YouthLA reserves the copyright of the articles.
3. Study support. Joining in various study and design services organized by YouthLA, such as to design living environment for the community and neighborhood, improve hygiene conditions, provide the public with sustainable design services, and so on. Please pay attention to various activities developed by YouthLA and our partners for details.
4. Public activities. Joining in various public activities and providing various volunteering services, such as academic forum, design contest, summer camp and so on. Please refer to the block of “(Events)” for details.
